Yog Manav Vikas Trust (YMVT) is a voluntary philanthropic Non Government Organization (NGO) making sustained efforts in improvement of the educational, social and economic well being of the rural and underprivileged sections of the society with focus on the Chamba District. Chamba is considered the abode of Shiva and Shakti and therefore enjoys a privileged spiritual status, but the large section of people in the remote areas live in abject poverty. During the course of interactions with such underprivileged sections, the founding members of the Trust, inspired by their inherent altruism, philanthropic and spiritual intent embarked upon the path of bringing about a significant positive change in the lives of such underprivileged people. With a view to supplement the efforts of the State in the manner that the benefits acrue to the needy in an effective and time bound manner, YMVT was established in Sept. 2001 by a small group of motivated individuals having an ardent zeal to serve humanity. Since them several like minded people and organizations have joined the expedition in one way or the other and helped the Trust in pursuit of its objectives. The overwhelming  support and cooperation received together with the trust and faith reposed in us has instilled a greater sense of responsibility and commitment towards re-dedicating ourselves for this noble cause. 

Towards this end, we look up to the like-minded people and organizations to continue providing us their support and co-operation to help realize the objectives of the Trust. We solicit patronage and commitment towards this endeavor from individuals as well as from Corporate under the Corporate Social Responsibility objectives to not only sustain the current efforts but also to expand the scope of the activities of the Trust with opportunity to serve humanity with humility, dedication, devotion and love. 

Although some success has been achieved in this 9 years of time, much more remains to be done, for which we need the resources to carry forward the mission. We look forward to your positive contributions by way of donations and funding towards the charitable cause of the Trust and sincerely hope to get your patronage, solidarity and positive contribution towards augmenting the resources of Yog Manav Vikas Trust, your own Trust, for a definite and noble cause.
