Establishment of “Yog Manav
Vocational Training Institute in 2002”, duly
recognized by National Institute of Open Schooling,
Ministry of HRD, Govt of India and presently
accredited for courses of Electrician, Technician,
Cutting & Tailoring, Dress Making, Beauty Culture,
Certificate in Computer Applications, Catering,
Fruits & Vegetable Preservation, Bakery &
Confectionary, Secretarial Practices is available
with Institute.
More than 1200 girls / boys passed out of institute since
2003 and many of them etc earning livelihood through
self employment basis.

Establishment of Bal Ashray for
parentless children since 2003 with capacity of 20 boys,
provides shelter including fooding, lodging,
schooling facility.

Running of Helpline for women in
distress for State Commission of Women, H.P. from
2003 to 2007.

Formation of Yog Manav Aromatic
Plants Grower’s Cooperative Society for promoting
growth of cash crop of Lavender & geranium by
farmers.

Entering into MOU with Indian
Himalayan Bioresource Technology Institute, CSIR,
Govt of India for 10 years for providing services of
Scientists / Experts for training farmers in crops
production / improvement. IHBT also provided oil
extraction plant for geranium / lavender plants
amounting to Rs.10 lacs for Jassorgarh area.

Executed Small Grants Scheme Project
aided by UNDP for improving bio diversity by
providing assured irrigation to Brangal village with
financial grant of Rs.15.4 lacs from UNDP SGS
Projects.

Sponsored local boys / girls for
training in horticulture / floriculture through H.P.
Horticulture University, Solan.

Provided Lift Irrigation scheme to
village of Saili & Brangal

Provided Vocational Training to 50
village girls (aided & sponsored by H.P. Industries
Department).

Providing vocational training to more
than 1200 boys & girls (70% from BPL families) and
many of them earning their livelihood after
completing these courses.

Conducting Health, Environment &
Spiritual programmes from time to time.

Registered for Income Tax purposes
including for exemption of donations made to Trust
under Income Tax Act 80G, presently upto March,
2012.

Improving standard of education of
more than 1000 children of 27 backward area villages
studying in govt. schools by providing additional /
reinforced education.

Providing source of some earning to
unemployed educated youth of backward area villages,
by engaging them as trainees for additional coaching
under Shiksha Sahayata Abiyan.
